No referral required
Physiotherapy is a direct-access service, so you can book straight in without seeing a GP first. A referral is only needed if you're claiming under a Medicare GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, WorkCover or TAC.
First appointment length
Your Initial Consultation runs for 30 minutes. If your condition is more complex, an Extended Initial Consultation (60 minutes) gives Andrew more time to assess you properly.
What happens at your first visit

A thorough health history
Andrew reviews your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle and what's brought you in, so treatment is built around your actual situation.
A physical assessment
A hands-on examination of your posture, movement, joint mobility and strength to identify what's driving your symptoms.
A clear explanation of findings
Andrew talks you through what he's found and the treatment options available, so you understand the plan before it starts — no jargon, no pressure.
Treatment, if appropriate
Where it's safe and appropriate, your first hands-on treatment happens in the same visit, alongside a plan for what comes next.
What to bring
- Any relevant scans, imaging or specialist reports you have
- A list of your current medications
- Your Medicare card, DVA card, or private health fund card if you plan to claim
- A GP referral, only if you're claiming under a Medicare GP Chronic Condition Management Plan, WorkCover or TAC
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that gives Andrew clear access to the area being assessed

- Initial Physiotherapy Consultation & Examination (30 mins)$125.00
- Standard Physiotherapy Consultation (30 mins)$115.00
- Extended Initial Physiotherapy Consultation (60 mins)$215.00
