Because all our massage therapists are holders of university diplomas, they are all recognised and registered with all major private health insurance companies.
This means you are able to claim if your insurance covers you for either massage or myotherapy. You must make your own enquiries with your health insurance company. The key things to check are:
- If you are covered for Massage.
- If you are covered for Myotherapy.
- What rebate you will receive for this service.
- How your “extras” are grouped.
- What is your yearly limit for this service.
- What is your yearly limit for each group. (Some insurances are more generous with the way they group their “extra”)
The other thing worth checking is if your insurance company allows massage to be processed on the spot using a “HICAPS” terminal.
This means that you only have to pay the gap on the day. If your insurance company has not negotiated with “HICAPS” as an added service to its customers, simply ask our receptionist for a receipt that you can use to later claim on line.
